Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition

As some of you already know, I am sad to announce that I will be leaving RIPAC at the end of this month.

Over the past months, I have enjoyed getting to know and rely on the members of the RIPAC Community. Since my arrival at RIPAC I have watched the numbers of new patients grow astronomically and have helped plan the first International Medical Marijuana Conference in the northeast to take place in Warwick this April. I was there when the Legislature overwhelmingly approved the Compassion Center legislation and have since handled countless inquiries from all over the country as the excitement about the first state regulated compassion center grows. I am proud of the contributions I have made in furthering efforts to bring safe affordable medicine to Rhode Island patients.

I want to thank all of you for the support that you have given me during my tenure as Executive Director. During these challenging economic times, it is more important than ever to contribute to RIPAC's mission and I appreciate every contribution made to RIPAC.

JoAnne Leppanen will be assuming the responsibilities in my absence and I am confident that you will give her all the help and support to ensure RIPAC's continued success.

I wish you all good health and the very best for the New Year.

Warmest Regards,
Stephen Hogan Jr.
